Ouya Acquired By Razer

Razer has acquired Ouya, the company behind an Android gaming console. Reports have built up since April stating Ouya was in financial trouble and needed to find a buyer. Those reports recently began saying Razer was talking with the company about a potential acquisition and now a deal has been confirmed by one of the banks that advised the deal.

Mesa Global lists the deals it has worked on online and that list now includes Ouya’s acquisition of Razer in June. The deal is listed alongside Google’s acquisition of Songza and Beats’ acquisition of MOG.
