PCIe 4.0 Extender: Thermaltake launches a PCIe 4.0 riser!

Small novelty at Thermaltake which announces a new PCIe riser. Indeed, the brand offers us its PCIe 4.0 Extender, all in the 4.0 standard as you can imagine. Moreover, it is available in different lengths and different configurations.

PCIe 4.0 Extender: a riser available in 30 cm and 60 cm!

Thermaltake PCIe 4.0 Extender

Thermaltake offers us new PCIe risers. With this new generation, the brand announces a product compatible with the PCIe 4.0 standard of course. Nevertheless, you will be able to use it with the 3.0 and 2.0 standards, no worries there for the users of old motherboards.

As you can see, the connectors are divided into five cable clusters, each shielded. By the way, this shielding consists of three layers and the goal is to limit electromagnetic disturbances as much as possible. Despite this, Thermaltake indicates that its riser will be flexible enough to make tight loops.

Finally, we finish with the available lengths. On this subject, the brand announces three different versions: 30 cm, 30 cm with 90° female connector and 60 cm. So, whether you have a large tower case or not, you will have enough to install your graphics card vertically!

For the moment, no idea of the selling price of these different versions. However, they should arrive in stores soon, their availability being announced as effective.

Here are the Thermaltake datasheets!
