Radeon RX 6600 XT: imminent arrival and performance

According to information reported by Fudzilla, it seems that AMD will launch both the Radeon RX 6600 XT and the Radeon RX 6600 non-XT on August 11.

RX 6600 XT

The technical details about the Radeon RX 6600 XT and RX 6600 are more or less known. Both cards are based on the Navi 23 GPU, a GPU we have already talked about since it has already been launched with mobile versions under the name RX 6600M.

Around 400€ for the RX 6600 XT?

The RX 6600XT should offer 2048 Stream Processors, as well as 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The RX 6600 could be very similar to the mobile version RX 6600M with 1792 Stream Processors. The memory configuration of the RX 6600 could be 4 GB or 8 GB. Videocardz was able to get its hands on some screenshots from Chinese forums. These pictures show us some performance readings in a benchmark called Ludashi, little used outside China. We will have to be relatively careful with this benchmark because we do not know its behavior very well. Nevertheless, the results displayed would seem to show that the 6600 XT card offers superior performance to some RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards. However, what fuels our skepticism is Ludashi’s integrated ranking. If we take this into account, the RX 6600XT would even be ahead of the recently launched RTX 3070 Ti.

The RX 6600 XT better than an RTX 3070?

The card is expected to be under 400€ and should be positioned between an RTX 3060 and 3060Ti. Here again, we’re waiting to tell you more. One thing is certain, like all graphics cards, the availability and the “real” price will be the most important information for the success of these new references.
