REV220 : a Sharkoon case with an original organization!

REV220 : a Sharkoon case with an original organization!

Sharkoon management announces a new case with a really original internal organization, the REV220. Indeed, inside, the motherboard will be installed on the side, with the rear connectors facing upwards. The kind of layout we see too little of!

REV220: a case where the motherboard is installed on the side!

Sharkoon REV220

With this new model, the brand offers a case measuring 215 (W) x 480 (D) x 485 (H) mm. So we are dealing with a medium tower case for ATX format motherboards. On the weight side, this new reference comes in at 9 kg on the scale.

If so far the package doesn’t look very original, what is, is the internal layout. On the inside, the motherboard will be installed on the side, with its rear connectors facing upwards. As a result, the graphics card(s) will be as if suspended. An uncommon layout, similar to the Silverstone FT05 for example.

For storage, this box provides six slots. So we will have four 2.5″ slots and two more in 3.5″.

Otherwise, there will be no real limitation of components since the CPU fan will be able to measure 165 mm in height. The graphic cards will have 323 mm of free length against 200 mm for the power supply.

From the base, the case comes with full ventilation. The latter offers three 120mm mills at the front and two others, RGB, at the rear. Yes, in this model, you will be able to install up to two 120/140 mm fans at the rear, in extraction. All this helps to provide compatibility with 360 mm front and 240 mm rear radiators.

Unfortunately, all we’ll need now is the price and the availability date, something Sharkoon hasn’t announced yet.

This is Sharkoon’s data sheet!
