RTX 3080 and 3080Ti on approach ?

What if the next card launched by Nvidia was not a 3060 but a RTX 3080Ti? While we are all expecting a RTX 3060 for the beginning of the first quarter of 2021, some of our sources inform us that the next Nvidia card to come out will not be this one. Obviously, this information is still to be put into perspective but we have these leaks from 2 sources officiating at two different brands. RTX 3080TiThe first one reports a repositioning of the current RTX 3080 and the second one tells us that if the price of the RTX 3080 could evolve, this board could be accompanied by an RTX 3080Ti / Super declination. Obviously, the arrival of this card and this repositioning would be a consequence of the release of the RX 6000 cards and in particular the 6800XT. We have had this information for nearly 72 hours from our contacts but it seems that today other elements are reinforcing these tracks… That’s why we are talking to you about it tonight while maintaining the usual cautionary instructions.

Certain leaks and in particular the use of an HP OEM driver allow us to consider that the hypothesis of a 3080Ti is getting thicker and that its arrival is imminent (January 2021). The card would have 20 GB of GDDR6X, double the current 3080. It would also have the same 320-bit memory bus and the same 320W TDP. The boost speed would be lowered to 1635 MHz. This potential NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti would obviously be positioned below the RTX 3090, although we do not have any reliable information on this at the moment. Finally, even if our first source mentioned this eventuality, the possibility of seeing the current RTX 3080 drop seems difficult to us unless we envisage Nvidia’s support to its partners.
