RTX 3080 Ti: arrival confirmed for the end of May

According to our sources, the RTX 3080 Ti should arrive in the second half of May. For the moment, the target price is still considered to be around $1000 ( 999 or 1099 ). But obviously we are talking about the launch price and we all know that in 2021 this information is very unreliable.

On the field of technical characteristics, Videocardz also has some information that goes in the direction of our last publications. No real surprise then, with 10240 CUDA cores, 256 less than the GeForce RTX 3090, at a Base / Turbo frequency of 1365/1665 MHz accompanied by 12 GB of GDDR6X memory at 19 GHz, a hair less fast than the 3090. This 3080 Ti has a 384-bit memory interface and thus a bandwidth of 912 GB/s.

RTX 3080 Ti: A card that still mines and rather well

The big surprise is that this card seems to have been caught mining Ethereum with a Hash Rate of at least 118.8 MH/s, almost as good as a 3090!

So what happened to the clamping system on this card? According to Videocardz, the card is not recognized by the driver and it is possible that the tested sample is a bit dated and does not have all the protections activated.

Here is already a projection of the 3080Ti in comparison with its small and big sisters.
