OCC_FrTeam January 20, 2021 News Gigabyte is preparing a new graphics card equipped with waterblock. Thus, after the Aorus Xtreme Waterforce WB the brand announces an RTX 3080 Waterforce WB. A new card to be integrated in a custom watercooling loop! RTX 3080 Waterforce WB: a card for custom watercooling! With this card, the brand takes up an already well-known recipe. Indeed, you take an RTX 3080 and adapt a waterblock to it. This version has a simpler design and the block is much less imposing. As you can see, the heatsink does not exceed the high expansion slots and the card retains its double slot format. Once again, this is a model to be integrated in a custom watercooling loop. In terms of visuals, there is an openwork shell in the center to admire the RGB lighting and the liquid circulating. At the rear, we have the traditional backplate with a sober look: a “GeForce RTX” reminder and a “Gigabyte” logo, all on a black background. In terms of frequencies, the card has a shy factory overclocking. The boost actually goes up to 1800 MHz, a 5.3% increase in frequencies. For the rest, the memory will not have been touched up: 19 Gbps, the same for the base frequency with its 1440 MHz. We then proceed with the connection technology and this model has three DisplayPorts outputs as well as two HDMI outputs. Power will be supplied through two 8-pin PCIe connectors, the same configuration as the Aorus Xtreme version. Once again, you will have to wait to find out the price of this model. Share On
