RTX 3090 Gundam: After the motherboard, Asus unveils the graphics card!

A few days ago, we learned that Asus was launching ROG GUNDAM edition components. It started with the motherboard, a Maximus XII Extreme, and then it went on to the graphics card. Indeed, the brand is unveiling its RTX 3090 Gundam Edition, featuring the RX-78-2.

RTX 3090 Gundam: the series also touches graphics cards!

In the absolute, this series offers nothing exceptional except a new cooler code (pun intended!). The card is now displayed in white with blue, red and yellow borders, just like in the series. These patterns will also be found on the backplate. Otherwise, no big change, the card still displays a very large heat sink of 3 slots thick. It also has three Axial-Tech fans, a large heat sink with seven heat pipes and a nickel-plated copper base.

Regarding the frequencies, Asus has carried out factory overclocking. The boost now climbs to 1890 MHz compared to 1695 MHz for the reference card. The same applies to the maximum power limit of 480W. Finally, three 8-pin PCIe connectors will be needed to power the card.

Unfortunately, this model, like the Gundam component series for that matter, will only be sold on the Asian market. Not to mention the fact that this is a limited series offered on boards that are not already available… In short, getting it will be mission impossible, especially since it will cost $2530 (16,999 Yuans).
