RTX 30xx news: final specifications?

RTX 30xx news: final specifications?

The rumors accelerate a few days before the official launch of the new Nvidia RTX Ampere cards. A few hours ago, some customs models and information on availability were published. We learn now, through Videocardz, that the complete technical sheet might have leaked.

The final information, if confirmed, is relatively surprising.

One learns indeed that Nvidia have used 7nm whereas all the sources evoked until then the use of 10nm. This information comes in addition with elements of frequencies whereas it seems that Nvidia still has not fixed the definitive frequency of her top-of-the-range sound, waiting as usual, till the last moment.

Furthermore, the TDP is also announced with a good 350W for the 3090 (the 2080Ti was at 250W for memory) and 320W for the RTX 3080 (the 2080 was at 215W).

In short, without calling into question the work of our confrere, the fact remains that these elements are disturbing for us.

The RTX 3070’s data sheet is also in the game even if some elements are missing. Here again, if the source is confirmed, the TDP of the latter would be 100W lower than its big sister RTX 3080 ( 220W vs 320W ).

In the following document, it is mentioned that the data come from non overclocked custom models…the meaning of this information remains to be determined ( is this the model with the same aesthetic personalization and same characteristics as the Founder card ? ).
