RX 6600 XT: AMD card with 8GB memory confirmed by EEC?

RX 6600 XT: AMD card with 8GB memory confirmed by EEC?

The EEC website is a real mine of information. Indeed, it is via this site that brands register their products shortly before their launch. Moreover, via the references that are registered there, we can find a lot of information, especially concerning the memory. In this way, we know that Gigabyte registered RX 6600 XT with, obviously, 8 GB of memory!

RX 6600 XT: the small card from AMD would have 8 GB of memory!

AMD RX 6600 XT 8 Go GDDR6 As we can see in the above screenshot, Gigabyte registered six card models. Among them we have the Gaming Pro, Gaming and Eagle variants, each with an overclocked

version and the other not OC. The other common point between all these references? The amount of memory, which is 8 GB in GDDR6.

This seems to confirm some rumors about this card. Rumors that indicated that the 6600 of AMD would have 8 GB of memory in GDDR6 while the 6700 non-XT would offer 12 GB of memory. Moreover, for the moment, we have no information about this 6700 non-XT.

On the GPU side, for the time being, we are in the speciatives concerning the configuration of these 6600. However, it is likely that AMD will use the configurations of the RX 6600M and RADEON Pro W6600. We would then have a Navi 23 XT GPU with 2048 stream processors, 128 TMU and 32 ROP. Also, the Inifinity Cache would be 32 MB. On the other hand, the non-XT version would have 1792 stream processors, 112 TMU, 32 ROP and still 32 MB of Infinity Cache.

RADEON Pro W6600

The pro version, the RADEON Pro W6600

For the frequencies, nothing is said, you can imagine. However, we can expect cards running at high frequencies. The pro version still displays 2903 MHz!

So we just have to wait a bit more before seeing it on the market. Lisa Su having confirmed that this model would be released during the first half of the year. AMD has only one week left to launch its small mono-fan model on the market.
