RX 6900 XT Gaming Trio: MSI launches two 6900 XT custom!

On the graphics card side, we learn that the MSI brand is launching two new references. The manufacturer offers us two RX 6900 XT Gaming Trio with a factory overclocked X version. The second one, “non X” running at AMD’s reference frequencies!

With these new cards, the brand offers us customized references with an imposing heatsink. As often (now), this model will occupy three slots in your case. Same for the length, with 32.4 cm, it is not a small size.

On the other hand, the ventirad boasts three Torx 4.0 fans. The same goes for more efficient heat pipes that dissipate heat along the entire length of the radiator.

However, it is well known that the larger the heat sink, the heavier it is and the more likely it is that your card will bend over time. For this reason, the brand adds an additional side reinforcement in addition to an additional reinforcement that is installed directly in the case.

In terms of frequency, as you know, MSI offers two variants, one Gaming X Trio overclocked from the factory and another one running at reference frequencies. The “OC” model, for example, has a boost at 2340 MHz, while the second board will run at 2250 MHz with a boost. However, the memory frequency remains unchanged at 16 Gpbs.

We finish with the connectivity of this model which is equipped with three DisplayPorts outputs as well as an HDMI. The power supply part will be more muscular since it will require three 8-pin PCIe power connectors!

For the price, as you can see, it is around 1600€ at most of our resellers. For the availability, GrosBill and Cybertek seem to have some parts, but from 1900€ on… At least, at the time of writing this article.
