Ryujin II: Asus announces IOA with an even bigger screen

With its Ryujin watercooling kit series, Asus offered AIOs equipped with a very small LCD screen. Since then, water has flowed under the bridge and the brand is back in the spotlight with its Ryujin II. The program still includes AIOs, but with an even bigger LCD screen!

At the moment we don’t know much about this kit, except that a 240mm version was announced. From the shared visuals, we can guess that the manufacturer is still in partnership with Noctua. We can then count on a qualitative ventilation as standard. In the picture above, the kit comes with two NF-F12 fans, probably IndustrialPPCs as on the first generation of the kit (tested here).

However, the biggest change concerns the LCD screen, which is still in use. Nevertheless, it is much bigger than on the previous series. We are moving from a 1.77″ OLED screen to a 3.5″ screen. In the words of VideoCardz, this is “the same size as an iPhone 4 screen”.

Finally, we can try to make some deductions in view of the significant height of the pump block. If it is like the first generation, it is very likely that the pump is equipped with a small fan. Its role will be to cool the elements located around the socket, such as the radiators of the power supply stages for example. Similarly, given the shape of the mounting arm and the radiator, it can be expected that Asus will still work with Asetek.

Finally, we end with the price that has not been announced. Also, keep in mind that the first Ryujin 240 of the name was announced at $220 and that it is now between €210 and €260. We let you imagine the price of this new model with its even bigger screen!
