They have a great understanding about the market and what makes a good unit and unlike some manufacturers the PR team is included in this. That passion for products and great understanding is clearly evident throughout the company though as their PSUs have in the past been some of the best we have reviewed, if not the best. In fact top enthusiast brands such as XFX choose Seasonic to make their units, they are that confident of the quality. In 2010 we looked at the last major Seasonic release in the form of the fanless X-Series 400w PSU and found it to be an incredibly impressive product which performed exceptionally well. Today we have the latest Seasonic release on our test bench and being their first Platinum unit with a rating of 1000w it has a high standard to achieve. Packaging and Bundle Seasonic package their Platinum Series in an attractive box which gives a decent image of the product on the front and various features and specifications on the other sides. Inside the PSU is surrounded in foam then wrapped in a cloth bag for protection. A separate bag sits to the right of this and contains the PSU wiring. Bundled with the PSU we get a well written manual, screws, a case sticker and two types of cable ties. Pages: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Share On
