Silver Arrow ITX-R rev A : a new heatsink by Thermalright !

In the world of cooling, we have Thermalright, which announces the arrival of a new heatsink. This new model has a compact dual-tower format designed not to block the elements located around the socket. In short, the Silver Arrow ITX-R Rev A will be perfectly compatible with mini-ITX motherboards! Also, note that this is a revision of the original Silver Arrow ITX from of 2017.

With this new model, Thermalright offers us a dual-tower type heatsink. It thus offers two cooling towers crossed, each, by a total of six anodized copper heatpipes. Despite its size, it offers compact dimensions of 155 (W) x 103 (D) x 147.2 (H) mm. In addition, note that some elements evolve from the 2017 model. This version will be lighter: 30g less. This is made possible thanks to a different cutting of the fins near the base, improving at the same time the compatibility around the socket.

The ventilation also changes according to TechpowerUp. The brand would have exchanged its TY-129 fan (300 – 1300 RPM) for a faster model. Thus, the TY-129B has a rotation range between 300 RPM and 1500 RPM. This also improves the airflow from 55.81 CFM to 84.97 CFM. On the static pressure side, this new mill displays 1.89 mmH2O.

Finally, we end with socket compatibility where the heatsink will go on just about every platform. Among them, we have the LGA-2000, LGA-1200 and LGA-1100. In AMD, we will be satisfied with the AM4, older sockets and the sTRX4/TR4 are not supported.

For the moment, we have no idea of the price, the brand not having communicated it yet.
