Silverstone go with some pretty standard packaging for this PSU and inside the product is suspended in foam and wrapped in a protective bag. Inside the box we also find a mains cable and the product documentation. No modular cables here, for those interested in connectors at the end of the braided cables they are as follows:

1 x 24-Pin motherboard connector?500mm?
1 x 8 / 4-Pin EPS / ATX 12V connector?600mm?
4x 8/6-Pin PCIE connector?”500mm / 150mm” x 2?
1 x SATA connector?550mm?
4 x SATA connector?550mm / 50mm / 50mm / 50mm?
4 x SATA connector?550mm / 155mm / 155mm / 155mm?
3 x 4-Pin Peripheral connector ?705mm / 155mm / 155mm?
1 x 4-Pin Floppy connector?705mm / 155mm / 155mm / 100mm?

Silverstone use a matt black paint on this PSU and brand the top while also applying an information sticker to the side. We can see a 120mm HYB (ceramic bearing) fan on top and then at the end of the PSU is a perforated surface with 3pin connector and rocker switch. The unit measures 150x86x140mm and weighs 1.95Kg.

This is a 80 plus Gold rated unit meaning it should be over 92% efficient. Our model is rated for 600w (46A on 12v) and Silverstone rate the PSU for 100,000 MTBF and give us a 3-year warranty. Also worthy of note is that Silverstone advertise this PSU as having a +/-3% voltage regulation and low ripple and noise.

What other aspects of note are there? That would be the inclusion of various protection circuits, in this case and all of the expected protection circuits: Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), Over Power Protection (OPP) and Over Temperature Protection (OTP).
