SiSoft Sandra Physical Disk Benchmark

Sisoft Sandra allows us to check how close each drive comes to its advertised read speed in a synthetic environment. We are able to see both an average speed and the maximum speed and overall each drive does a good job of hitting its advertised rating, only Super Talent is below the listed speed but despite this it is still the fastest performing drive on average results. Also worthy of mention is the Kingston V-Series which is rated at 100MB/s read but peaks at 120MB/s and on average hits 113MB/s. Finally, the OCZ Summit peaks at 242MB/s where as it is only rated for 220Mb/s, a nice bonus.
