TForce Xtreem: TeamGroup’s RAM comes in a kit of 8 modules

After talking about the future with Adata presenting its DDR5, we stay in the present with TeamGroup. Indeed, the brand unveils the arrival of a very high capacity kit for its TForce Xtreem memory. This series now benefits from a 256GB kit in 8x 32GB!

With this new kit, the brand attacks the high-end platforms from Intel and AMD. Indeed, who would need so much memory if not professionals or content creators? In any case, TeamGroup addresses them with this kit composed of 8 DDR4 modules of 32 GB each.

In terms of characteristics, the manufacturer mentions timings of 18 – 22 – 22 – 42 for a frequency of 3600 MHz. Unfortunately, nothing is said about the voltage.

On the design side, the brand offers us very sober bars with a mirror effect heatsink. Of course, we find an RGB lighting with a very special effect. However, beware of their height of 48.7 mm which can cause problems with some fans. We are thinking in particular of models like the NH-D15 from Noctua for example.

Once again, no price is announced, but do not expect an Eco+ price. The rare kits of this capacity referenced on LDLC are displayed at nearly 2000€ for frequencies of 3600 MHz!

Here is the TeamGroup datasheet (even if the kit is not shown)!
