The RX 6700 XT TUF Gaming and Dual from Asus now visible!

The RX 6700 XT TUF Gaming and Dual from Asus now visible!

While AMD’s RX 6700 XT will arrive on March 3rd, custom models, notably from Asus, are showing up. Thus, the design of the RX 6700 XT TUF Gaming and Dual have leaked, we now know what it looks like… Although it is not the surprise of the century, you will understand why.

RX 6700 XT TUF Gaming, the bigger of the two!

With its TUF model, Asus continues to offer us impressive triple-ventilated cards. This model is now 32.2 cm long for a 3-slot footprint. For comparison, it is 5.5 cm longer than the reference model from AMD, a tip, don’t have a small case.

Next to that, it is whispered that the power supply will be based on two 8-pin PCIe. Obviously, this configuration would be different from the AMD board since the reference model would have a 6-pin PCIe and an 8-pin PCIe… But this remains to be confirmed.

In spite of an exterior design that is a priori identical to the 6800 XT TUF Gaming, it seems that the distribution of heat pipes differs. Same for the printed circuit board (PCB), which would be less imposing, again, this remains to be confirmed.

Concerning this “Dual” model, despite the presence of two ventilators, this reference remains impressive. Indeed, it is about a card displaying a total length of 29.7 cm for three occupied slots in a PC case. Also noteworthy is the presence of two AxialTech 100mm diameter fans.

Underneath this heatsink, it is not impossible to be confronted with a Navi22-B GPU with a reduced TGP. For frequencies, it is therefore unlikely to have a model operating at the reference frequencies. But all this remains to be taken with tweezers, we will have confirmation on March 3 if everything goes well.
