Toughair 310 & 510: Thermaltake announces the availability of its cooling!

A few months ago, we told you that Thermaltake was working on a series of aircooling heatsinks. Indeed, the Toughair series includes three models, two of which are in tower format and one top flow. Today, we’re talking about the last two models, the 310 and 510, which are officially launched!

Toughair 310 & 510: two tower format fans in push and push/pull!

Thermaltake Toughair series

As you can see, the 510 is actually a push/pull version of the 310 with its two fans. Out of that, the base remains the same with a radiator in 120 mm format measuring 123.6 (W) x 159.5 (H) mm. The thickness of the whole will depend on the number of fans: 71.7 mm for the 310 against 98.8 mm for the 510.

The heat sink itself remains rather basic with its four 6 mm copper heat pipes. These will come into direct contact with the CPU. Moreover, the heatpipes in the middle are tighter than those placed outside the base. As for the fins, they have an asymmetrical design that facilitates the entry of air into the radiator.

Regarding the ventilation, we have one or two Toughfan 12 fans in 120 mm. Powered by PWM, they will run from 500 RPM to 2000 RPM, generating an airflow of 58.35 CFM for a static pressure of 2.41 mmH2O.

This time, we know the price of these Toughair 310 and 510. Thus, Thermaltake positions them at $39,99 the mono-fan model against $59,99 the push/pull model! For the moment, no news about the top flow model.

By here and here Thermaltake’s technical data sheets !
