Toughpower GF1: five new power supplies from Thermaltake

Toughpower GF1: five new power supplies from Thermaltake

We continue with Thermaltake which announces a new series of power supplies. On the program, we find their new Toughpower GF1 range, a series comprising five blocks. Attention, it should not be confused with the Toughpower TF1 of 1550W which we spoke to you previously!

Toughpower GF1: five blocks from 650W to 1200W!

Thermaltake Toughpower GF1

With this new series, the brand offers five new power supplies. The powers start from 650W and end with a big 1200W block. Of course, in between, we have 750W, 850W and 1000W units. As you can see, this is a fully modular model with 80+ Gold certification.

Internally, cooling will be provided by a 140mm fan with semi-passive operation. Otherwise, we will find quality components with Japanese capacitors, the basis. Otherwise, the manufacturer highlights a low ripple noise below 30 mV, as well as strict voltage regulation ≤±2%. Still internally, we will be entitled to a platform with 0 cables, ensuring a better signal. Regarding the protections, no worries with the presence of OVP, OCP, UVP, OPP, SCP and OTP. Likewise, we will find a single 12V rail and an active PFC.

At the level of connectivity, there is no particular criticism to make. From the 650W block, we have four PCIe 6+2 connectors, allowing to power the biggest RTX 3090 or RX 6900 XT. SATA and Molex are available in sufficient numbers. However, we will have to start with a minimum of 850W before taking advantage of a second EPS12V 4+4 pin to the CPU.

Currently, the price is not known, but we know that the warranty will be 10 years.

This way to the Thermaltake datasheet!
