Toughpower TF1: A very large Thermaltake 1.5 kW block!

Toughpower TF1: A very large Thermaltake 1.5 kW block!

Not long ago, during Computex, we told you about a very large Enermax power supply. With its MaxRevo the brand proposed a 2kW power supply. Well, still in the theme of high power supplies, we have Thermaltake which proposes its Toughpower TF1 of 1550W, a very energetic power supply!

Toughpower TF1: 1550W of power certified 80+ Titanium!

The first thing we will remember about this model is its size. Indeed, you will have to be particularly careful about your case since this reference displays a depth of 18 cm! Then, we have the weight which is very heavy: 2,4 kg, in short, well venereous!

For the rest, it is a high-end block with a very high power: 1550W. Typically, this is the kind of product that eats SLI with milk for breakfast in the morning. Moreover, there are enough connectors to power up to four graphics cards. We’re talking about a block with four 8-pin PCIe connectors and four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors.

Inside, we find 100% Japanese capacitors and a single 12V rail of 129.16A. For the certification where we have the best on the market: 80+ Titanium. The same goes for the electrical side with an active PFC and a DC-to-DC circuit with all the electrical protections and tutti quanti.

On the ventilation side, it is a 140 mm mill managed by PWM which takes care of cooling the whole thing. By the way, let’s not forget to mention the turbo fan button that will force the fan to run at 2400 RPM in case of very high load.

Once again, we would be curious to know the selling price of this model, which is clearly not cheap. Ah, Thermaltake also has confidence in its model since it guarantees it for 10 years!

Here is the technical sheet of Thermaltake !
