Ultra Microfly SX6

Ultra Microfly SX6

Final thoughts and conclusion

What we did like:
While the SX6 offers decent thermal and acoustic performance, especially considering the diminutive size of the chassis. The stongest aspect regarding the SX6 is the extremely high value for money it offers, since the case currently retails for almost as much as the included PSU on its own.

What we would like to see improved:
The biggest problem the MicroFly SX6 faces are several production errors which lower the overall positive impression. For example, the color tone difference between the chassis and the faceplate make the MicroFly look rather poorly designed and searching for a proper screwdriver to remove the HDD cage can be frustrating. The PSU is powerful enough to handle an SLI system however a second PCIe cable would need to be added via an adaptor to facilitate such a desire. The thermal dynamics would also increase due to the added heat a second graphics card would produce.

Who we would recommend it to:

The Ultra MicroFly SX6 case is a good choice if you are looking for a small, lightweight mATX case at a low price. It may not be the best cubic mATX case, but at the retail price with the included XVS 600W PSU as well as two fans, it is a steal. Everything considered the MicroFly SX6 earns our Shortlist Award.

The Ultra MicroFly SX6 + XVS 600W combo can be found at TigerDirect.com for $99.99
