[UPDATE] Intel: i9 11900 ES in the wild tested on CPUZ

[Update of the 22/12/20 other benches at the end of the articles] After rumors about release dates, an Intel i9 11900 ES processor is said to have appeared in China with a switch to CPUZ; what about performance?

Performance from 10900K to 4.4 Ghz?

While the announcement of Intel’s next generation of desktop processors is expected in

early January (CES?) along with the new 500 series motherboards, a Rocket Lake ES has appeared on the net, shared by 9550pro on Twitter.

The processor has been put on sale in China, accompanied by photos of the benchmark on CPUZ. Intel rocket_lake ES

The processor in question is called QV1J and appears to be thei9 11900 ES. The motherboard used is an MSI Z490IUnify. As far as frequencies are concerned, the CPU runs at 1.8 Ghz in base, 3.8 Ghz in multi-core and 4.4 Ghz in boost (in comparison the 10900 ES runs at 2.5 Ghz in base and 4.6 Ghz in boost ). Moreover, the bios used does not allow to take advantage of the new iGPUXe. Intel benchmark_rocket_lake Moving on to the benchmark, the processor was tested on a Z CPU, reaching 582 points in single-core and 5262 points in multi-core. Amazing performance, matching the single-core performance of the 10900K at 5.3 Ghz, but behind the 10700K because of its low multi-core frequency of 3.8 Ghz….

This 10900 can now be found under Cinebench R15 and R20 : Intel Rocket Lake 10900 R15 Intel Rocket Lake 10900 R20 cinebench

AIDA64 was then used to test consumption with AVX2 and AVX512

An Intel announcement for January 11th and launch in March ?

Finally, new information concerning the launch of these processors has just been shared. According to wccftech sources, Intel would announce this 11th generation and the 500 motherboards on 11 January Surprisingly, however, only the motherboards would be available for sale on the day of the launch. As for the processors, they would be launched 2 months later, with two embargo lifting dates: March 1st and March 19th. A late launch, knowing that the Blues plan to launch Alder Lake in the 3rd quarter of 2021. In short, there are only a few weeks left before having all the answers.
