X570 Creator WiFi: after the B550, Asus attacks the X570 chipset!

X570 Creator WiFi: after the B550, Asus attacks the X570 chipset!

We continue the news by talking to you again about motherboards. However, this time we are talking about a general-purpose board and not a professional model. Here is the X570 Creator WiFi from Asus, a card that follows its B550 counterpart.

X570 Creator WiFi: the series is now available in X570!

Asus offers us a new card belonging to its Creator series. Indeed, the range is now declined to the X570 chipset from AMD with this new model. In the program, we find a model in ATX format with an X570 chipset and an AM4 socket. We are therefore ready to install Ryzen and even big Ryzen since the power supply part should hold the road with 14+2 power supply phases. Especially since the heatsink is imposing and should cool them efficiently.

Concerning the connectivity, Asus puts forward three PCIe 4.0 slots. The first port will be able to run in x16 while the second is in x8 and the last is in x4. With two graphics cards, the first two ports will each run at x8.

For storage, we also have enough to do with, already, six SATA III connectors. This set is completed by three M.2 slots in PCIe 4.0 x4. These are hidden under heatsinks to avoid thermal throttling that can lead to lower data rates.

At the back, Asus highlights the presence of eight USB: 4x USB 3.2 Gen1 and 4x USB 3.2 Gen2. We also note that two Thunderbolt 4 are part of the game via two USB Type C connectors. Similarly, we have the right to two Ethernet: 1x Marvell AQtion AQC113CS 10 Gb and an Intel I225-V in 2.5 Gb. The WiFi is also present as well as the Bluetooth 5.2 standard. Finally, for the audio, Asus opts for a Realtek S12201A chip.

As for the price, we should certainly not expect an affordable model, Newegg showing this model, in pre-order, at $429.99!
