Crucial package their Tracer sticks within individual plastic protectors which are then held together by a cardboard sleeve. There is no specific product information on that sleeve however we do get a short installation manual with the product.

The modules themselves use a black PCB and attached to each side is an aluminium heat spreader which is predominantly black with a red/yellow logo at one end and a silver trim. On one side of the sticks we find a barcode sticker and beside this a smaller information sticker with part number, note that the sticks are lead free and XMP enabled and the speed, timings and voltage information.

Where Crucial stand out from the norm is that these modules feature LED lighting with patterns which change depending on memory activity as shown below.

Crucial XMP program these modules for 8-8-8-24-1T operation at 1600MHz with a voltage of 1.65v and each module is 2GB in size for a total kit volume of 6GB.
