One of the newer brands of memory on the market Kingstons HyperX t1 modules were launched in March and arrived packaged in a plastic protective packet with no specific branding, other than on the modules themselves.

The modules use a green PCB with double height fins which are designed to maximise cooling performance. It is also worth noting that these use black heat spreaders which are designed to look good with boards such as Gigabytes G1 X58 board. The fact that kits of up to 24GB are available also hints that these are for high end users, as does the note at launch from Kingston which mentions that they are an ideal companion for the 990X CPU.

Attached to the front of the module we find an information sticker which is quite limited compared to the other modules in the roundup. We get a note of the model number, which does give away the speed and amount of memory with the voltage also listed. No detailed timings are present.

Kingston programs these sticks with XMP capability and the timings used for each 4GB module that make up a 24GB kit, are 9-9-9-27 with 1.65v enabled.
