XG43UQ: Asus also announces a very large screen for May!

We remain in the field of monitors, and even very large screens with Asus that announces its ROG Strix XG43UQ. Just like the FV43U from Gigabyte

, we have a 43″ monitor. What to take full eyes in game!

XG43UQ: a big screen from Asus for May!

In the broad lines, we find a screen very similar to that of Gigabyte in the state of mind. Indeed, this model is very large with its diagonal of about 110 cm (43″). As for the refresh rate, we also have the right to 144 Hz on a UHD resolution (3840 x 2160).

Regarding the panel, we find here a VA type panel taking advantage of the DisplayHDR 1000 certification by VESA. The brightness will be able to point up to 1000 cd/m² max in HDR. As for contrast, it is announced for 4000:1 and can reach 1 000 000:1 max in HDR. Finally, we will enjoy a response time of 1 ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time) and a coverage of 90% of the color range DCI-P3 on a depth of 10 bits.

Unlike the Gigabyte screen, we know that this one takes advantage of the FreeSync Premium Pro of AMD. Similarly, we can activate, simultaneously the Asus ELMB to enjoy a variable refresh rate and eliminate tearing and ghosting in game.

Finally, we finish with the connectivity which offers two HDMI 2.1 inputs allowing to play in UHD 120 Hz on console (144 Hz on PC). Finally, two USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks are present.

For the price, nothing official, however, estimates place it around $1800 to $2000. The release date is somewhere in May, so you’ll have to wait a little longer!
