Inside the Tauro Series we have a compact PCB with minimal heatsinks and some components are given extra stability by adhesive while wiring is tied in multiple places to keep the unit tidy.

The Tauro Series also includes several features which combine to protect the PC components in the event of a fault developing. First up is Over/Under-Voltage Protection which ensures that the 12, 5 and 3.3v outputs do not exceed a set level. Over-Current Protection works on the same outputs to ensure DC voltage remains within safe limits. Over Power and over temperature safeguards add further protection beyond this and Short-Circuit protection is included too, powering off the PSU should any of the 3.3v, 5v or 12v rails short.
