XM1 RGB: The EndGame Gear Mouse Returns with RGB Lighting

EndGame Gear, a young brand in the world of gaming peripherals has just announced the arrival of a second mouse. Indeed, the brand announces the arrival of its XM1 RGB, a new luminous version of its XM1, that we tested on the XM1 right here. If the outer shell doesn’t change, the inner shell does!

XM1 RGB: Light for the EndGame Gear Mouse!

EndGame Gear XM1 RGBWith this new version, EndGame Gear does not modify the dimensions of its field mule. It is still 122.14 (W) x 65.81 (D) x 38.26 (H) mm. Moreover, it gains in weight, this last passing from 70 gr to 82 gr.

Internally, we still have a high end optical sensor in the presence of the Pixart PMW3389. The latter will withstand accelerations of 50G and will be able to go up to 16,000 DPI (with a 50 DPI step). However, the CPU changes from an ARM STM32 to a 32-bit Cortex-M0 ARM. Same for the switches where the brand swaps Omron switches for Kailh GM 4.0. The lifetime will not be penalized, on the contrary, since it increases to 60 million activations.

Under the mouse, the brand now opts for two large Teflon skates instead of four small ones. And, unfortunately, the DPI button always remains there, really not practical to change sensitivity. Nevertheless, nothing is said about the cable, we don’t know if it will keep its former flexibility.

In fact, the most noticeable change is the RGB lighting that is making its appearance. The latter is now present on the knob, the logo on the knob and in edged form at the base of the mule.

For the price, there is a small increase. It goes from 59.90€ to 69.90€. As we have seen, it is not a simple update with RGB, but the internal is evolving too.

Here is the technical data sheet of EndGame Gear!
